Biography Highlight
Li Baodong, male, Han nationality, is a native of Beijing Municipality. He was born in 1955 and graduated from Beijing Foreign Language Institute of China in 1977. After that, Li had served for Foreign Affairs Ministry of State Council of China for almost 20 year from 1986 to 2005. From 2006 to 2010, Li served as Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and Other International Organizations in Switzerland. From 2010 to 2013 Li was served as Plenipotentiary Ambassador and Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations. In 2013 he became Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
